新たな千年紀を迎えたデンマーク・ユトランド半島南部。
仇敵・アシェラッド亡き後、生きる目的を失ったトルフィンは、
「奴隷」として地主・ケティルに買われ、彼が所有する農場で開墾作業に従事していた。
そこで、同じく奴隷の身分へと堕ちた青年・エイナルとの出会いをきっかけ
に自らが犯した罪と向き合い、生きる意味を見出していく。
一方、イングランド王に即位したクヌートは「楽土」の建設に向けて、
さらなる版図の拡大を目論んでいた。
これは“本当の戦士の物語(サガ)”プロローグのその先にある“償いと救済の物語(サガ)”。

He truly brings thorfinns character to life. The entire cast are honestly so talented and chosen so well for their roles. I’m watching from San Marcos Texas. Thank you guys so much for all of the hard work and dedication you’ve put into this series. It truly is a story well worth anyones time.
Mad respect to you and to all voice actors of Vinland Saga. Even without the music, your voice alone could carry the great story telling this show has.
season1のトルフィンは、見ていて複雑な気持ちにさせられる人物でした。亡き父の幻影と目の前の敵との狭間に置かれたトルフィンの思いが、上村祐翔さんの声でしっかりと伝わってきました。
season2もまた、上村祐翔さんが演じるトルフィンが見れることに感謝です！！！

He did a brilliant job in season 1, and sounds great in the trailer. It’s gonna be a big change for him now vocally. Can’t wait to see the finished product

I watched the dub but I’ve seen clips of the sub and he did an amazing job imo!! I’ll probably have to watch season 2 in sub first so I can’t wait to hear his voice acting again!
